Lakay Lawn Services Business Card
For this piece, I was tasked to create a business card for a lawn service business. Throughout this piece, I incorporated the texture of grass. In the word "Lawn", I created a grass graphic to replace the letter 'W'. Also to represent the essence of grass, I used various shades and tints of the color green.
In the first initial concept sketch, I was going to do shapes that represented hills but I felt like it was too plain for the type of business card I was trying to create for the brand. My uncle also desired to have a busier card, rather than plain. In the second concept sketch, I incorporated a lawn mower. However, I felt as though I have seen many business cards with that design so I did not end up going with it. I ended up going with the last design as it had all of the elements and aesthetic I was going for.
